Neymar wants to leave PSG

Brazilian soccer player Neymar Jr. moved from Barcelona to PSG in the summer of 2017. The transfer amounted 222 million euros, and the Brazilian became the most expensive player in history.

However, In the last week, the media was full of informations that the Brazilian regrets his transition to the Paris club and wants to return back to Barcelona. Neymar offers his services to Barcelona and wants to return to his former club.  The “rogues” are not against the idea of returning the Brazilian star. The management of Barcelona outlined a number of conditions under which the transfer of the Brazilian forward Neymar can be carried out.

First, the source reports, that the 27-year-old Brazilian must publicly declare his intention to return to Camp Nou. Secondly, Neymar will have to agree to lower wages. Recall that the current payments to Neymar amount to 37 million euros per year. The Brazilian must also withdraw the lawsuit against Barcelona related to the non-payment of the bonus for the extension of the contract in 2016. Thirdly, in the Catalan club they expect Neymar to change his behavior both on and off the field.

Neymar can dramatically make stronger the attacking line, but due to the facts that he costs a lot of money and could be issue for another transfers, I am sure that Barcelona wouldn’t sign him in this summer. According to Marca, the Catalans have to make great sacrifices to buy Neymar. According to the source, they have to sell Ivan Rakitic, Philippe Coutinho and Oswan Dembele, in order to have € 230 million required to buy Neymar.

It is also mentioned that in addition to that, Barcelona also has to refuse to buy De Lap. The Dutch are one of the main transfer goals of the Catalan club in the summer transfer market. The issue of buying Antoine Griezmann will also be challenging.  Besides the fact that Barça will have to pay 120 million euros to get a Frenchplayer, the 28-year striker’s salary is too high – € 17 million a year.

2 reasons why Massimiliano Allegri is going to leave Juventus

In recent days, one of the most successful Italian soccer coach Massimiliano Allegri announced that his magical history in Juventus is over. Allegri is the coach of the Juventus since 2014 and he has achieved 11 trophies: 5 times he led his team to league gold medals, 4 times Italy Cup winner, 2 times Supercup champion and 2 failed Champions League final games. The social media suggests a lot of reasons why he will leave, but I am convinced that there are 2 main reasons which cause this to happen.

As I have already mentioned, Allegri led his team to Champions League finals twice, but it was completely different story because Cristiano Ronaldo was not playing in Juventus during those seasons. Portugal super star signed a contract with Juventus in the beginning of the season, and everyone was expecting them to win the Champions League final, because none of the clubs were able to resist against that starting XI. The fans of the Juventus don’t care about internal cups, because their club achieves them with close eyes, without even sweating. The only aim of the season was to win the Champions League final, but unfortunately they lost to Ajax and got kicked out from the League. Allegri, who spent much of his playing career as a midfielder in Serie B, said immediately after that defeat that he wanted to stay at the club. However, the game against Ajax showed everyone that even if they cannot achieve the Champion League Cup with Cristiano, than the problem is the coach.

A number of experts believe that Allegri’s departure is greatly contributed by Ronaldo’s coming.  Max was unable to show character traits that would allow him to set up power over Ronaldo. Ronaldo is a kind of player who needs an exhausting specialist. If Allegri is not able to curb him, than there should be a coach next to him, which would ensure a friendly level with him as Ronaldo was with Zidane. Ronaldo shows more coach characteristics than Allegri during their games, which proved that he is not the best choice for Juventus. The same situation was also recorded in PSG last year, when Umit Emmeri was unable to solve  the obvious disagreement with Neymar and Cavani.

“Cristiano Ronaldo’s strong because he’s replaced his Coach with his presence. What’s Allegri had to do this season?” De Laurentiis said during an interview with Corriere dello Sport.

The European League final game is unacceptable for Arsenal

As you know, on the 29th of May Baku will host the final of the European League match between London’s Arsenal and Chelsea. The fact that the game is gonna take place in Baku is unacceptable for Arsenal, because the city is not able to host a lot of fans and the participation of Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is still not determined.

The capacity of the stadium is 68700 seats, but both Chelsea and Arsenal are allowed to have only 6000 tickets each. Also the airport can receive a maximum of 15000 passengers, which proves that Baku isn’t the best place for European League final. London’s Arsenal is disappointed that due to the transport limitations only 6000 Arsenal fans would be able to watch the game from the stadium and cheer their team. Moreover, they are very angry, because their fans can’t even get into the country, because the airport can’t handle it. In my opinion, UEFA should pay a huge attention on this problem and review their final match standards, because games like this should be obtainable for most of the soccer fans.

“We have 45,000 season-ticket holders and for so many fans to miss out due to UEFA selecting a final venue with such limited transport provision is quite simply not right. The reality is that whoever reached the final would not be able to meet demand from their supporters.”

On the other hand, the midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has to miss the final game for security reasons. The captain of the Armenian national team missed the European League group game against Qarabag in Baku, because Armenia has a conflict with Azerbaijan and the soccer player is in the “black list” of visitors. Arsenal attempted to ease the situation, but UEFA still cannot guarantee Mkhitaryan’s safety at the final Baku. Furthermore, a lot of British and Armenian citizens have been denied to get a visa for the game. So the location of the game, caused Arsenal to approach the game without one of the key players and have a serious problem with tickets.

History repeats again. Barcelona’s second collapse

The semifinal game between Barcelona and Liverpool shows that Barcelona haven’t learned any lesson from their last year defeat against Roma. The conditions were exactly same, Barcelona won the first leg game with a huge difference 3-0, as they won last year against Roma 4-1. However, their bad performance and poor coaching tactics caused them to get kicked out from Champions League, without having any Champions League title since 2015.

On the 7th of May, Liverpool scored 4 goals against Barcelona and won with the 4-3 decision, which was 2nd humiliation for Barcelona in the Champions League. Some people think that it happened because of Jordi Alba, Philippe Coutinho and Sergi Roberto  who got the lowest ratings for the game. However, I am convinced that the main reason of the defeat is Barcelona’s coach Ernesto Valverde.

Before the game Valverde says: “We are not interested in having the feeling of control. We have to attack. If we think about having control, it’s absurd.”

Barcelona started the game with the same XI as in the first leg and played into Liverpool’s hands. Dembélé was injured so Coutinho was replacing him, but including Sergi Roberto over Nelson Semedo was Valverde’s first mistake. In the last few games Nelson Semedo showed that he is the key of the attacking, because he is super fast, has good dribbling skills and is able to make outstanding assists. Without Semedo the attacking line completely failed and Liverpool was pressing and pushing them back, which caused Barcelona to play mainly in defense. So tactically Barcelona was supposed to play attacking game, but their starting XI was not matching with that.

Secondly, in the second half of the game Ernesto Valverde substituted Arturo Vidal who was the best game among Barcelona’s players and got the highest rating for the game. Vidal is the player who neutralized a lot of dangerous attacks and his substitution caused Barcelona to get 2 more goals, which closed the Champions League final door for Barcelona. So the defeat was completely coach’s fault and maybe this summer he will leave the club.

Neymar’s behavior isn’t acceptable for UEFA and FFF

The Brazil star of the PSG, Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, is behaving very aggressive in the last two weeks. The French Football Federation could ban him from the next French Cup Competition for five games. Last Saturday during the final match of the French Cup, PSG lost against Rennes after having a 2-0 advantage. When the player was walking upstairs to get his second place medal he got involved in a conflict. One of the Rennes’s fans used provocative language about PSG players Gianluigi Buffon, Layvin Kurzawa and Marco Verratti. When Neymar was passing the fan he stopped, pushed his camera and then punched him. The decision about Neymar’s punishment is not made yet, but according to Foot Mercato, he will skip at least five games. In my opinion, the player is behaving pretty aggressive because he used to win all the titles with his former club Barcelona, but in his new club he is not able to get any achievement. Moreover, he left Barcelona for winning more trophies and making some personal records, but his goals still remain unaccomplished.

It is not the only scandal where Neymar Jr. is involved. He has been banned by UEFA and will miss the three games of the next Champions League season. The reason for the punishment is his Instagram post, which was criticizing match officials who referred the game against Manchester United. At the last minute of the game, the referee used Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system and gave a penalty shot chance to Manchester United. The penalty shot was successfully made by Marcus Rashford, which kicked out PSG from the Champions League Competition without any rewards. The referee Damir Skomina made a decision that PSG player Presnel Kimpembe touched the ball with his hand. Although, Neymar, who was missing the match because of injury, though that It was within the game rules and got really angry. The player has to think about how to improve his skills rather than criticizing the referee. He wants to achieve all the trophies, but his behavior make the situation of the club even worse. On the other hand, one of the reasons of his behavior might be that he wants to change his club. There are some news that in this summer he will sign a contract with Real Madrid, but Neymar have not announced anything about his future career.

“It’s a disgrace. They get four guys who don’t understand football to watch a slow motion replay in front of the TV … Go fuck yourselves!” Neymar wrote in Portuguese on the social media website.

The Era of Barcelona

The end of the 2018/2019 soccer season is approaching. Some clubs are keeping control of the current season by working hard and showing good performance, but I am determined to claim that this is the era of FC Barcelona. In Europe, there are only two teams that still can win the treble (when the team wins three trophies in a single season: the national league competition, continental trophy and main national cup competition). Barcelona and Ajax are the only clubs that have a chance to make history by winning all possible trophies. This article will show that Barcelona has great potential and could easily conquer all the trophies.

La Liga

There are only four more rounds in La Liga and it is very obvious that Barcelona will win this season. They are nine points above Atletico Madrid and are leading the tournament with an outstanding 24-8-2 record. For remaining in the first place they only have to win one game out of four, which is pretty easy for the team having only two losses in the whole season. Due to the facts that Barcelona shows great teamwork and remains in the first place with 80 points, I am convinced that this year they will win their second La Liga title in a row and the eighth in last ten years.

Copa del Rey

Barcelona has won the Copa del Rey Cup 30 times. Moreover, they made it four times in a row since the 2014/2015 season, and the fifth one is approaching. The main opponents of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are out of the competition. The final game is against Valencia which is a class below Barcelona and cannot make any trouble. So the 31st Copa del Rey Cup is waiting for Barcelona.

Champions League

It is the semi-final stage in the Champions League. This year the results of the Champions League games are surprising. The main favourites of the league, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Paris-SG and Real Madrid are knocked out. Last week Barcelona played an amazing game against Manchester United and showed that none of the England clubs are ready to stop this machine. They only have to defeat Liverpool and move to the final where the opponent could be Ajax or Tottenham. The road to the treble is very close for Barcelona, because their level of the game is something magical for other teams.

Messi-Ronaldo Rivalry

“Messi is always the best, he’s the best every year. Cristiano Ronaldo’s a special player, but Messi’s from another planet. There are no words to describe Messi, he always surprises you.” – Angel Di Maria. Nowadays, the soccer world is divided into two major pieces. Some people believe that the striker of the Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo, it the greatest player ever. However, the others are determined that Messi, the super-skilled player from Argentina who plays in Barcelona since the beginning of his career, is the God of the soccer. For making a right decision in this phenomenon we should analyze and compare the trophies, statistics and skills of this two amazing players.

Lionel Andres Messi has started to break some records since his first soccer season. In the 2004-05 years when he was only 17 years old, he became the youngest player and goal scorer in the Spanish La Liga, which is the country’s highest division. During his career he has won 35 trophies, while Cristiano Ronaldo has only 28. Lionel Messi’s trophies are the followings: four times Champions League winner, ate times Spanish champion, three times UEFA Super Cup, five times Copa Del Rey winner, seven times Spanish Cup winner, ate times Super Cup winner and Under-20 World Cup champion in 2005. Both of the players have the same number of Ballon D’Ors. Each of them five times has got awarded for the world’s best football player.

The greatness of Leo Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo is more obvious when we analyze the games when this players have played against each other. The games between rivals Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are called El Clasico. Lionel Messi is the top scorer of this competition, he has scored 26 goals which is ate goals more than Cristiano Ronaldo. Moreover, Messi has won 17 El Clasico games and has made 14 assists ( goal passes), while Ronaldo has won 8 games and has made only one assist.
